Job Description:
This is a key role with primary responsibility for recruiting volunteers and coordinating visits. You will be responsible for recruiting, screening, training, and assigning volunteers over the world as using online and offline channels.
This role will support the Volunteer Engagement model that is consistent with The Society’s operations, mission and activities. Volunteer Coordinator works closely with Volunteer Recruiter and Team Leaders to plan and facilitate volunteers Globally

Key skills preferred to be considered for this position and reflected in your resume:
Recent experience recruiting volunteers of different ages, and diverse backgrounds
Ability to assess volunteer talent, resulting in successful matches between volunteers and patients in need
Have had experience working with volunteers as a coordinator

Requirement Details
Oversees and participates in recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, retention, and evaluation of volunteers
Develops and implements training and support program and materials
Participates in the preparation and maintenance of volunteer reports and statistics
Knowledge of and experience with volunteer database systems
Participates in the timely and compliant collection, storage, and retrieval of volunteer data including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Has input in our outcome-based quality improvement initiatives to improve volunteer programs and services
Knowledge of and monitors continuous compliance with Medicare and other licensure regulations
Is a good steward of the allocation of resources within the allotted budget and priorities
Supports departmental strategic plan including outreach networking to community agencies
Knowledge of training, and directing others including constructive coaching
Strong oral and written communication skills
