About

Students will volunteer to video chat or call seniors in a nursing facility. The Alzheimer's Association Longest Day has some nursing homes and senior citizens who have agreed for a student to chat, read, sing, or talk. Once you have signed up, we will match you with a senior citizen. You will have online training before you start. Students will receive community service hours for their services. If you have additional questions, please call Dr. Heard at 601-979-3418. Once you have signed up, you will be given the days and time you will sign up each week. I will send you the link once you have signed up. You must have attended training to participate in this opportunity.
