Marketing/Communications Internship

CAPSLO is looking for a qualified summer intern to join our marketing/communications team. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of communications. This internship will be part-time (hours to be determined with candidate) and unpaid.

• Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, email campaigns, online promotion, etc.

• Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials around San Luis Obispo county

• Provide support to social media efforts. This includes coming up content for our social media calendar and content curation

• Monitor social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels

• Assist with social media and website analytics

• Help with distributing information on agency events

• Help create a merchandise flow

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of social media

• Driven and hard-working

• Ability to take direction and multi-task

• PowerPoint, Word, Excel Adobe Suites experience a plus
