Blunn Nandina-be-Gone

Saturday, August 7th, 2021 from 8:30am to 12:00pm (CT)
This has ended. If you attended, let the organizer know by recording your Impact!

Please join Austin Parks and Recreation and the Blunn Creek Partnership to continue work at restoring Blunn Creek Nature Preserve. For this next event, we'll be removing nandina, an aggressive exotic plant that has been spreading at the Preserve and displacing native plants. We'd love to have your help restoring the park's biodiversity, and making it a real showplace of central Texas nature.

If you'd like to participate, please register here. We'd also recommend that you bring water, and wear a hat, gloves, long pants and closed-toe shoes - you'll be more comfortable that way. We'll provide tools and plenty of nandina entertainment!
