About

SRU Faculty members are invited to attend this 60 minute, introductory RockServe Training.

Join us to learn how you can leverage SRU's new digital community-engagement platform, RockServe, to enhance and streamline service-learning courses and opportunities for your students to support their transformation into community-minded citizens.

In addition, learn how you can apply for the High Impact Community Engaged Learning Practitioner Fund to support your HIPS community-engaged learning course this academic year.

Upon completing this training, you'll have knowledge of:
  • How RockServe supports service-learning
  • How to login and navigate the platform essentials
  • How your High-Impact Practice Service-Learning (HIP-S) course will be represented on the platform
  • How your HIP-S course can qualify for the High Impact Community-Engaged Learning Practitioner Fund
  • How to build and manage a successful course page
  • How to affiliate with other campus and community organizations to connect students to service opportunities
  • How to post service events to a wide audience of SRU and external community members
  • How you and your students can track the impact of your engagement (e.g. service hours, research, goods)
  • And More!
