Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm (PT)
This has ended. If you attended, let the organizer know by recording your Impact!

Lunch n' Lead is a series of lunchtime volunteer events hosted by the L&C Volunteers program through the Center for Social Change and Community Involvement at Lewis & Clark College.  Each Lunch n' Lead event will feature an L&C Volunteers event and time for students to enjoy their own lunch in Stamm.
Students will have the opportunity to serve as a Hope and Support Letter Writer, supporting Letters Against Depression.  Letters Against Depression was founded in 2014 by Robert Mason.  The idea for L.A.D. was born from his writing letters to himself in his daily journal, as a way to heal from his battles with mental illness.  Letters written as a part of this project will be sent to people all over the world battling depression and other mental illnesses.

Hope and Support Letters:
Students will have the opportunity to choose who to write to.  These letters are at least 1 page in length (think college ruled pater type size), that are upbeat, positive, and deliver the message that "You are not alone" and that "You Matter."  While the letters need to be at least 1 full page in length, most letters are 2-3 pages long.  Once your letter is completed, the Center will take care of the mailing for you!
