About
At Girls on the Run Memphis, mentoring young girls to become thriving young women is at the heart of our organization. We provide an after-school program that gives girls a place to belong and find their voice during the challenging years of adolescence. Meeting in small teams, trained volunteer coaches inspire girls of all abilities to strengthen confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity.
Individuals of all gender identities, backgrounds, and physical abilities can coach with Girls on the Run. You do not have to be a runner.
All interested volunteers must complete a coach application through the Girls on the Run website, attend in-person coach training on Feb 5th, 1-5 pm.
Volunteers must be available from the week of February 19th - April 30th. Teams meet 2x per week, for 1.5 hours, between the hours of 3:30-5:30 pm.
