The Professional Micro-Credential Collaborative for Community Engagement serves as a community of practice for staff and faculty seeking credentialing through Campus Compact's Community Engaged Professional Credentialing Program.

The Campus Compact Community-Engagement Professional Credential is a nationally recognized professional development and certification program based on 15 core competencies. Campus Compact's CEP Credentialing Program has two (2) core purposes:

  1. To provide civic and community engagement professionals with opportunities to gain recognition for knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their careers
  2. To promote and encourage ongoing professional development among participants that foster reflective, inclusive, and equity-focused partnerships and commitments

The Summer 2021 Session runs from May 15 - August 30

The Office for Community Engaged Learning invites interested faculty and staff to join a summer 2021 community of practice in support of your pursuit of up to TWO (2) micro-credentials for the summer 2021 session.  Here's what's involved:

  1. Register on Rock Serve for the Summer 2021 Session.
  2. Access the micro-credential applications on the Campus Compact website and work at your own pace per the outlined criteria for the micro-credential(s) you want to pursue..
  3. Attend 2 out of 3 1-hour summer sessions on the first Tuesday of June, July, and August) as part of a community of practice to both gain and offer support to others toward their desired micro-credentials.
  4. The OCEL will reimburse you the $60 application fee for up to TWO (2) micro-credential applications (possible total of $120) that are successfully submitted by the deadline of August 30, 2021. (Note: Reimbursement is contingent on successful submission of a micro-credential application.
